IGCSE O Level
Ordinary level is referred to as O Level. It is the first half of the General Certificate of Education (GCE), with students moving on to the Advanced Level (A Level) after finishing the O Level. It is a certification that is accepted all around the world and is compared to the Cambridge IGCSE and UK GCSE.
O Level is typically pursued between the ages of 14 and 16 or in the 11th year (17 years). Once a student has earned it, they are deemed to have completed formal education. It is the last credential for secondary school.
O Levels were developed especially for overseas students and with the consideration of those whose first language may not be English.
IGCSE A Level
Students 16 and older in the UK may pursue A-Levels (Advanced Level Qualifications), which are subject-based exams. They are typically studied over two years and lead to qualifications approved for admission to universities in the UK and many other countries across the world. The majority of institutions of higher education demand a minimum of 3 subjects.
A Levels are offered in schools all around the world even though they are a UK certification. A Levels are also accepted as a legitimate entry qualification by the majority of colleges and higher education institutions.
